Siemens has announced a partnership between Siemens Cre8Ventures and Cloudberry VC to accelerate the commercialization of Europe's deep-tech innovation ecosystem while strengthening industrial resilience and supply chains.

The collaboration combines Siemens Cre8Ventures' industrial validation and customer access with Cloudberry VC's venture capital expertise in semiconductors, photonics, and advanced materials. The goal is to help startups and university spin-outs reduce the time and risk of moving from early-stage innovation to industrial deployment.

Industrial organizations struggle to identify and validate emerging technologies quickly enough to remain competitive. This collaboration addresses that gap by giving them earlier access to validated innovation, and by giving startups clearer pathways to industrial adoption.

How it works

The partnership is non-exclusive and ecosystem-oriented, with no equity investment or ownership stakes on either side. Focus areas include semiconductors, photonics, robotics, AI hardware, sensing, and autonomous systems. Portfolio companies gain access to proof-of-technology, proof-of-concept, and proof-of-value frameworks that reduce both technical and commercial risk on the path to scale.

What the partners are saying

By collaborating more closely across the deep-tech ecosystem, we help bring innovation closer to industrial reality.
